The Legislature’s inability to overhaul how the state taxes businesses hasn’t deterred Beaverton Democratic Sen. Mark Hass.
On July 10, Hass said he’ll continue working on the issue despite not finding the votes to pass tax reform in the session that ended July 7.
“That’s my job as chair of the Senate Revenue committee,” he said.
Hass said tax reform proved too big of a lift when coupled with a $5.3 billion transportation bill that required significant legislative debate.
